Govt sets up committee to look into assets, liabilities of JK to be given to 2 UTs; Head- Sanjay Mitra
- The Central Government has constituted a three-member committee to look into the distribution of assets and liabilities of Jammu and Kashmir between two successor Union territories, which will come into existence on October 31.
- Sanjay Mitra (former defence secretary) is the head of the committee. The other two members are:
- Arun Goyal (retired IAS officer)
- Giriraj Prasad Gupta (retired Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS) officer)
