Govt forms committee to relook at offences under Companies Act; Head- Injeti Srinivas
- The government has constituted an 11-member company law committee to analyze and examine the decriminalization of certain offenses under the Companies Act, 2013.
- The committee has been set up with an aim to improve corporate compliance and other steps to improve the ease of doing business for law-abiding citizens.
- Corporate Affairs Secretary Injeti Srinivas is the chairman of the committee.
