Fumio Kishida sworn in as 100th Prime Minister of Japan

- The 64-year-old Kishida received 257 votes, from 249 parliament members to be sworn in as the 100th Prime Minister of the country.
- He replaces Yoshihide Suga, who submitted his resignation along with his entire cabinet on October 04, 2021.
