Former US Gymnast Thomas passes away at 64

Veteran American Olympic gymnast, Kurt Thomas, has passed away at the age of 64, from the complications of a stroke.
Kurt was the first American male gymnast to win a gold medal at the 1978 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in France.
He competed in the 1976 Montreal Olympics, but lost a chance to go for a medal in a second Olympics when the Americans boycotted the 1980 Moscow Games.
