FIFA Imposes Lifetime Ban on Ex-Ecuador Football Chief Luis Chiriboga
- World football governing body FIFA has imposed a lifetime ban on the former President of Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF), Luis Chiriboga, as he was found guilty of taking bribes.
- The 72 year old had breached article 27 (bribery) of the 2018 edition of the FIFA Code of Ethics.
- FIFA has banned him from all football-related activities at both national and international level for lifetime.
- Chiriboga has also been fined a million swiss francs ($1.01 million).
