Online Portal for Licensing of AYUSH Medicine- e-AUSHADHI portal launched
- e-AUSHADHI portal has been launched for online licensing of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy drugs and related matters.
- This e-portal (e-AUSHADHI) is an acronym for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy Automated Drug Help Initiative.
- The portal was launched by Minister of State (IC) for AYUSH, Shri Shripad Yesso Naik in New Delhi.
- The portal is intended for increased transparency, improved information management facility, improved data usability and increased accountability as it will provide real-time information relating to the manufactures, license, cancellation of spurious drugs. Apart from this contact details of the concerned authority for specific grievances will also be provided.
