- India has extended Nepalese Rupees 35. 5 million as financial assistance for the construction of an educational campus in Nepal.
- The financial assistance has been granted for the construction of the three-storied building for the Siddheswar Education Public Campus at Ramechhap district
Italy becomes first G7 nation to join China’s BRI
- Italy has joined the Belt and Road initiative (BRI) of China also known as One Belt One Road (OBOR). With this Italy has become the first G7 nation to join the BRI initiative of China.
- G7 nations consist of: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Hinduja family tops Asian Rich List 2019
- Asian Rich List 2019 was released at the Asian Business Awards held in London. The list consists of 101 wealthiest Asians in Britain. Hinduja Family, a London headquartered Indian conglomerate has topped the ranking with net worth of £25.2 billion.
- Hinduja Family has topped this ranking for 6th year in a row. Lakshmi Mittal and his son Aditya Mittal, the owner of largest steelmaking company ArcelorMittal, remained in second place, with £11.2 billion
