Chhattisgarh to Set up ‘Lemru Elephant Reserve’
- Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced to set up ‘Lemru Elephant Reserve’ to provide permanent habitat for the wild elephants in the state.
- The Reserve will be spread over an area of 450 square kilometres and will contribute towards saving wild life and preserving of biodiversity in the region, as well as minimize human-elephant conflict and destruction of property caused by the movement of elephants.
