Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan passes away at 54

One of the finest actors of Bollywood, Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 54 years. He was battling from colon infection. The actor was battling neuroendocrine tumour since 2018 and was recently admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection.

Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar tweeted the news of the death of actor Irrfan Khan.

Irrfan’s mother Saeeda Begum also passed away recently breathed on April 25, 2020 in Jaipur where she used to stay. But due to the ongoing lockdown, the Irrfan could not physically attend his mother’s last rites and paid his last respect through video conferencing.

Irrfan is survived by his wife Sutapa and sons – Babil and Ayan.

Irrfan’s last movie

Irrfan Khan’s last film was ‘Angrezi Medium’. It hit the screens/movie halls days before the lockdown was announced. The movie was very much liked by fans. However due to lockdown amid COVID-19 the screening of the movie was stopped. It was released on an OTT platform.

Some of Irrfan’s top movies are Maqbool (2004), Paan Singh Tomar (2011), The Lunchbox (2013), Haider (2014), Gunday (2014), Piku (2015) and Talvar (2015) and Hindi Medium (2017).
