Axis Bank launches first-of-its-kind AI Powered Voice Bot 'AXAA'

Axis Bank, India’s third largest private sector lender has launched an Artificial Intelligence powered conversational voice BOT called ‘AXAA’.
What is a BOT??
- A BOT is basically a computer software, programmed and designed to interact with humans.
For this, Axis bank has partnered with Bengaluru startup Vernacular.ai, an AI-based SaaS voice automation platform, to optimise voice AI solutions and help automate customer interactions through intelligent human-like dialogue.
AXAA, the next-gen multilingual voice BOT, will assist customers to traverse through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system and address their queries and requests, without the need for any human intervention in most cases.
AXAA can converse in both English, Hindi and Hinglish.
In case AXAA is unable to cater to a particular customer query, she will direct the call directly to one of the expert service officers (a human assistant), minimizing the navigation time on conventional IVR.
