Assam Government to Provide Rs 1.7 lakh Subsidy for Admission in North East Skill Centre

The government of Assam has announced that it will provide a subsidy of Rs 1.7 lakh for the admission in the North East Skill Centre (NESC), launched to provide skill development courses to meet up the demand of the industry.
Total 400 students will get admission in first batch. The total course fees for the first batch students would be around Rs 2.2 lakh for which the state government has planned to provide a subsidy of Rs 1.7 lakh.
NESC has been set up by the Assam government in collaboration with ITE Education Services (ITEES), Singapore and was inaugurated in March 2019.
It will provide International Standard, quality skill training facility in Food & Beverage Service, Housekeeping, Retail Service and Beauty & Wellness.
