Andaman and Nicobar Islands becomes first Union Territory to become corona free

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands has become the first Union territory in India among all the states and UTs to officially become free of the Covid-19 infection, as per the data by Ministry of Health.
This means that the number of active cases in the island has come down to zero.
The A&D Island had reported a total of 4,932 cases and 62 deaths from the virus.
The last four infected persons in Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been declared cured.
