Anatole Collinet Makosso Takes Charge as Prime Minister of Republic of the Congo

The President of the Republic of the Congo, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, has appointed Anatole Collinet Makosso as the new prime minister of the country on May 26, 2021.
The 56-year-old Makosso replaces Clement Mouamba who resigned on May 4, along with his entire government team.
Prior to this, Makosso was the education minister of the Central African country since 2015.
