AIFF Nominates 'Gokulam Kerala FC' to represent India in AFC Women’s Club Championship

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has nominated women’s team of ‘Gokulam Kerala FC’ to represent India in the AFC Women’s Club Championship 2020-21, to be held in October-November 2021..
The winners of the Hero Indian Women’s League competes in the AFC Club Championship, but since the 5th edition of the tournament has been postponed which was to be held in 2021, the national federation nominated the champions of the fourth edition, that is ‘Gokulam Kerala FC’.
The Kozhikode-based club is also the first Indian club whose both men’s and women’s teams are playing in the AFC tournament in the same season.
