- The 7th UNWTO Global Summit on Urban Tourism was held on 16-19 September, in Seoul, Republic of Korea on the theme: A 2030 Vision for Urban Tourism.
- The 2018 Summit was organised by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) jointly with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, the Korea Tourism Organization and the Seoul Tourism Organization.
- The Summit provided a unique platform to discuss the key issues shaping the future of urban tourism in the context of the 2030 Urban Agenda.
