40th-India International Trade Fair 2021 will be held at Pragati Maidan from November 14 to 27

• The 40th edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF) is scheduled to take place at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from November 14 to 27, 2021.
• The theme of the 14-day IITF in 2021 is ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
• The mega event is organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) annually.
• The IITF was held for the first time in 1979.
• The fair was cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the second time in history that IITF was not organised, after in 1980.
• The IITF is one of the largest integrated trade fairs in South- Asian region, for both B2B and B2C components. 
• It provides a common platform for visitors and exhibitors, media persons, marketing professional, social activists, NGOs etc. to explore their objectives, including in business; social, cultural and educational dimensions.
