Ravi Shankar Launches VIVID 2019 in New Delhi

The Union Minister of Electronics and IT, Law and Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, inaugurated the VIVID (Vision Insight and Voices as India goes Digital)- the District Informatics Officer (DIO) meet in New Delhi on February 21, 2019.
The VIVID 2019 meet has been organised to interact with the DIO’s to share their experiences and contribution as digital change-makers at the grass-root level in the States.
The two days event has been organised by National Informatics Centre (NIC) and will be marked by the following initiatives:
Release of Digital India Compendium
Confer NIC TechGov Awards
Confer Swachhata Awards
Launch of
- Digidhan Mitra Chatbot
- Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) Scheme
- Centre of Excellence at
  - IOT Open lab, STPI Bengaluru
  - ESDM Incubation, STPI Bhubaneswar
  - Emerging Technologies, NASSCOM, Gandhinagar
  - Emerging Technologies, NASSCOM, Vishakapatnam
VIVID was started in 2017 as an annual event, with the objective to empower NIC officials in the field of technology
