- The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath, has announced that it is mandatory for all industries, funded by the state government, to give 70 percent of jobs to the local youths as per the new industrial policy.
- The newly formed state government introduced the new industrial policy in December 2018, to promote investment in the state.
- The Minister also stated that only those industries would be given incentives and advantages from the state government which comply with the norms.
