National Award-winning actress Surekha Sikri dies at 75
- Three-time national award winning veteran television and film actress Surekha Sikri, has passed away following a cardiac arrest. She was 75.
- Surekha Sikri was best known for her performances in television daily soap Balika Vadhu.
- She was also credited for films like Tamas, Mammo, Salim Langde Pe Mat Ro, Zubeidaa, Badhaai Ho among others.
- Sikri was last seen in Netflix’s anthology “Ghost Stories” (2020),directed by Zoya Akhtar.
- Sikri won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her roles in Tamas (1988), Mammo (1995) and Badhaai Ho (2018)
