SriLankan Airlines is World’s Most Punctual Airline: Flightstats.com
- Sri Lanka’s state-run Srilankan Airlines had been named as the world’s most punctual airline by the portal flightstats.com. The airline recorded 90.75 percent of its flights arriving on time in May 2019.
- This is the second consecutive win for Srilankan Airlines. It also achieved the world’s number one ranking in September 2018 with a punctuality rating of 91.37 percent
- Chile’s LATAM Airlines was placed second and All Nippon Airways of Japan stood third.
