- The Hurun Global Rich List 2020 was released on 26 February 2020 to rank the top billionaires in the world.
- The ninth edition of the ranking list has 2,817 billionaires from 71 countries and 2,183 companies.
- The list has been topped by Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos for the third time, with an estimated net worth of $140 billion.
- Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani is the richest Indian as well as the richest Asian in the list, ranked at 9th position with total net worth of $67 billion.
- He is the only Indian and Asian to be placed in top 10 place.
- Ambani shares his position with Larry Page (Google) and Steve Ballmer (Microsoft)
- In terms of countries, China has topped the list with maximum number of billionaires at 799.
- United States is second with 626 billionaire while India is third in the list with 138 billionaires.
