ADB Sanctions Rs 1,650 cr For Tripura Infrastructure Projects

  • The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved Rs 1,650 crore ($235 million) for various infrastructure development projects for 7 district headquarter towns in the state of Tripura.
  • Of the total approved fund, 80 percent of the amount is being provided as grant-in-aid while the remaining 20 percent loan will be repaid by the Tripura Government in due course of time
  • The town selected for the project are Khowai, Ambassa, Dharmnagar, Kailashahar, Udaipur, Bishramganj and Belonia.
