India Ranks 76th on WEF’s Global Energy Transition Index; Top – Sweden
- India has ranked 76th in the 2019 edition of the Global Energy Transition Index, compiled by Geneva-based World Economic Forum (WEF).
- The annual list has ranked 115 economies on the basis of how well they are able to balance energy security and access with environmental sustainability and affordability.
- Sweden has topped the annual list and is followed by Switzerland and Norway respectively.
