- India has been ranked 36th in the International Intellectual Property (IP) Index 2019 released by the US Chamber of Commerce’s Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC).

- The index ranks 50 nations based on the IP climate in the nation. India has jumped 8 spots from 44th rank in 2018 to 36th spot in 2019 and this is the highest increase among 50 nations ranked in the index.
